And so she sleeps,
Courageously slaying dragons,
And taming beasts,
Too bemused to remember to weep.
.
.
For now, at least her agons,
Have ceased,
Alas,
She sighs…
A moment of peace,
A chance,
For their eyes to meet.
.
.
Innocent,
Of his primordial defeat,
Momentarily,
Lips come together,
As they remember,
How they dreamt of forevers,
Whilst,
In the clouds they dance merrily.
.
Unaware,
That
This is ALL temporary…
Beep
Beep
Beep
.
Her hands paw at the snoooooooze
repeat
repeat
repeat
“Please God,”
she pleads,
“Go. Back. To. Sleep.”
For if she wakes,
She must
again
again
again
Endure her greatest feat,
.
That
Now,
She lye alone,
Fully knowing,
That only
Her heavy heart beats.
